Idle Clans

A multiplayer idle MMORPG where thousands of players skill, trade and raid together in one living economy, without it demanding hours of their day. Made by one person in Finland.

1,995 players online right now

About the game

Idle Clans brings the depth of a classic online RPG to a format that respects your time. Unlike most idle games it is genuinely multiplayer: everyone shares one persistent world where they trade, form clans and play together in real time.

There are over 20 skills spanning gathering, crafting and combat. You smith armour, brew potions, enchant jewellery and gear up for fights that range from early-game wildlife to endgame bosses in The Valley of Gods and multi-phase raids. All of it keeps going while you are offline. Training a skill is as simple as clicking the thing you want to do; your character handles the rest.

A fully player-driven economy sits at the heart of it. Players sell crafted goods and rare drops through a shared market, and supply, demand and player activity set every price.

Clans give the game its social structure and a lot of its mechanical depth. Members contribute experience toward shared upgrades, unlock communal housing and vaults, take on clan bosses together and compete on clan leaderboards alongside the individual ones.

Features

About Isam Games

Isam Games is a one-person studio based in Finland. Idle Clans is its first and only game: designed, programmed and operated by one developer since 2020, with art commissioned from freelance artists along the way.

The game runs on Steam, Android and iOS with a shared world across all three, so a player can start on their phone and continue on their PC.

A note from the developer

Isam Games

Idle Clans started as a hobby project in 2020. The world was deep into the pandemic and I needed something to keep myself occupied and sane. I never expected it to find players. After a few years of tinkering I decided to release it in 2023, mostly to see whether anyone cared.

To my surprise the beta gathered real interest, and thousands of players came along into early access on the 7th of April 2023. The weeks that followed were incredibly hectic. The back end was not built for that much traffic, and I was still holding down a full-time job at the same time. Much of that period is a blur now, but I can say with confidence that it was, by far, the most stressful time of my career.

Players stuck around through those rough weeks, and the game has grown steadily ever since. After years of active development we are finally planning to leave early access in 2026 and, for the first time, do some proper marketing. If you are writing about the game or making a video, I would love to hear from you. I read every email myself.
